The Slide Skin Seat is a chair system that is tailored to support and flex with the seated person.
The patented system was invented in 2003 when I pondered a unique seating system made of magnesium tubing, fabric and small mechanical devices that could be detached with great ease. I’m currently looking for a manufacturer but I would be equally happy if this concept never becomes mass produced. This seating system represents my first patented invention and as such brings about a sense of pride and joy. The design is slightly inspired by the science of human skeletal mechanics and innovative fabric construction.
